WORK IN PROGRESS COMMENTS, BUG REPORTS, TYPOS, ETC ALL WELCOME!

Cast into the pits below Galgenbeck, you - and four other scvm - must attempt to escape from the necropolis of the Rotqueen! A deadly text adventure in Mörk Borg style!

Version 0.1f
Added new art - including a text for reaching the spiral stairway (the endpoint of the current demo). Particularly pleased with the clock illustration!

Version 0.1e
Began to add some graphics. Corrected a few typos. Added an additional way to cross to the centre of the Void Rotunda. You can also become a vampyr!

Version 0.1c
Bug where you couldn't look at effigy fixed - which will make figuring the way round it easier! Torches droppable in water, if you feel that way. Fixed bug where conditions persisted into next character after death.

Version 0.1b
Music added, extra clarity on instructions.

Version 0.1
First level of the dungeon, only three scrolls implemented. Not every area complete. Limited NPC functionality. More traps and puzzles to integrate.

DUUUUDE. Super stoked to see the new imagery. Pretty awesome the first time playing through with the new stuff is the furthest I have ever been able to get. Things are starting to fall in place. Still need to draw a map of this hell hole though. Excited to see this come along. Cheers!!

Ok...figured somthing out for the android black bar situation. Go to keyboard settings. Select floating keyboard. Go to transparancy setting make it transparent. When the game starts pull up your now floating keyboard. Next tap the button on the lower right of your phone that would normally hide the keyboard. Press it once and it should only hide the random tool bar. Now you can play and have nothing blocking any text. And since your keyboard can be moved around  now when the text script reaches the bottom of the screen you can just move it up. If you want it gone all the way just hit the hide button again. To bring it back up just tap the cursor on the next line of text entry. It should come up again with no tool bar nonsense. Hope this works the same for all you other android using scvm bags. Cheers.

P.s.

If you select color contrast in your display settings you may get a cool color for your buttons. Mine went to yellow keys with black letters..pretty rad against the game colors. (Having you phone in or out of "blackout" mode may change this. Mine is set to blackout)

Super fuckin cool!!! Spent a couple hours playing. Cant wait to see where this goes. I dont want to give anything away for anyone reading comments before playing but I'll just say that there is more going on here than it appears. The backround music is on point also. I like it as a streamlined text only experience but if at any point some super dark and grimy pixel art was added for encounters or even special rooms/events I would'nt be mad about it. Next play through I may use some BASILISK map and character sheets to keep up with where the hell I am though for sure. All in all a super dope take on a tried and true method of killing shit and being killed by shit in a fucked up twisted dungeon. Cheers guys. Keep it up.

Thank you so much - it means a lot that you spent a couple of hours on this. Excellent to read your notes - and yes, graphics are on the agenda!

Pro tip: search both plague and rubbish pits two or three times!

I'll be checking up on this for sure. Thanks for the tip also. I'll take note of it. I'm playing on an android so I'm dealing with the whole random bar issue. I cant get rid of the bar but somthing I found helps with this is using your keyboard settings to no.1 make your keyboard smaller also select to remove the keyboard tool bar. Also choosing "black out mode" for display setting helps the keyboard blend better when it is opened. If you select to have "high contrast" on the keyboard it will make your keys yellow with black letters (at least on mine it did) this makes the keyboard sortof "blend" better with the color palette and vibe of the game...Mork Borgish. Just a tip for anyone else using android devices.

Oh, interesting! Tried it a bit on the phone but I feel that it needs a dedicated keyboard to work well.

Looks really promising!

Sadly a recent update to how Android uses the keyboard means there is an annoying bar at the top. I think the Adventuron guys have noted this, but not sure when/if a fix will be available. Hiding the keyboard until you type is a workaround, but not really very immersive. :/
